News coming out of D.C. United is that they have re-signed Jon Kempin for 2022. After Chris Seitz left the club this offseason and being #2 for the club when Bill Hamid was injured, the club have realised that they needed to keep someone as they have not brought in anyone so far. Rumours are swirling around that the club is after a keeper, namely from Europe but that potentially won’t happen until the summer.

This is what they club have released as a statement

We are happy that we’ve re-signed Jon [Kempin] for the upcoming season. He has embraced the culture at the club and was an important member of our squad last season. We’re looking forward to his continued hard work and commitment to the team in 2022.
