News: Loudoun United Head Coach change
It’s all change at Loudoun United. DCU have released a couple of press statements in regards to the changes that sees Richie Williams leave for New England Revolution as Assistant Head Coach and Ryan Martin, formerly of DC United Academy take over. Press releases below.
WASHINGTON (May 30, 2019) – D.C. United and Loudoun United FC have announced the departure of their USL Championship Head Coach Richie Williams. Williams will join the New England Revolution as the assistant coach under Bruce Arena. The Black-and-Red will receive an undisclosed amount of compensation from the Revolution for the acquisition of Williams.Press release on Richie Williams leaving.

WASHINGTON (May 30, 2019) – D.C. United and Loudoun United FC have announced the hiring of former academy director, Ryan Martin, as the second Loudoun United Head Coach in club history. Martin will be the head coach for the remainder of the team’s inaugural season in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship. Martin will work directly with Dave Kasper, D.C. United General Manager and VP of Soccer Operations, Ben Olsen, D.C. United Head Coach and Stewart Mairs, D.C.
