Jeahze out for the season!

Today D.C. United have said that Jeahze has been placed on the Season Ending Injury List. Jeahze will be undergoing surgery on an ankle injury sustained last week. During training he suffered a right ankle fracture and dislocation. Surgery commences on June 21st.

This is not the 1st serious foot injury the club has seen with Brendan Hines-Ike having just recently recovered from his foot injury and made his 1st MLS start in 10 months.

D.C. United defender Mohanad Jeahze will undergo surgery on June 21 after sustaining a right ankle fracture and dislocation at training on June 14. Team Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Giuliani and Dr. Stephen Malekzadeh, of Inova Sports Medicine, will perform the surgery. Jeahze is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2023 MLS season as he rehabilitates from the injury and will be placed on the Season-Ending Injury List.
