Jaehze has suspension lifted

Mohanad Jeahze, the D.C. United left back who was arrested in Sweden on suspicion of assault in April, has had his suspension lifted by Major League Soccer on Tuesday, meaning he can return to club duties, and play once he has recovered from his injury.
Jeahze has not been charged with any crime. He was arrested on April 24 after an alleged altercation with a woman in Stockholm. He was released from custody on April 26 and returned to the United States.
The Swedish Prosecution Authority said that Jeahze was arrested on suspicion of two counts of assault. The first alleged assault happened some time between December 2022 and April 24, 2023. The second alleged assault happened on April 24, 2023.
Jeahze has denied the allegations against him. He has not been charged with any crime.
The player is still recovering from a quadriceps injury that he sustained in March and has not played for D.C. United since March 19.
Major League Soccer has lifted the suspension for D.C. United defender Mohanad Jeahze and he is cleared to return to team activities.
Major League Soccer reserves the right to revisit the player’s status should new information pertinent to the investigation become available
