This was then followed up with Bio’s about each of the squad members, but seeing as we are DC United Kingdom, we only really care for the one man who is in the squad. Let’s see what that said about Donovan.

Donovan Pines | Defender | D.C. United | Nationality: USA | Born: March 7, 1998

The center back signed a Homegrown Player contract with D.C. United on Jan. 23, 2019, and Pines had a memorable MLS debut with a start and assist to Luciano Acosta during Unitedโ€™s 3-2 victory against the Colorado Rapids on April 13, 2019. Pines was a collegiate standout at Maryland for three seasons, capping off his tenure with an NCAA Championship crown in 2018. He was named to the 2018 NCAA College Cup All-Tournament Team and the 2018 All-Big Ten First Team that season.

It’s great to see one of our own recognized in this way. Are you happy with this? Let me know in the comments!
